Happy Birthday to Amy Lynn!

It is my wife's birthday today and because I am running a little behind this week, the Lord woke me up at 3:21 am. I love it - God always has our back! Amy Lynn loves a birthday cake! She doesn't want much, but she wants her cake from the fam. I messed up and forgot one year - not good! :>) So, this is the one time of the year when I actually bake a cake. Can't be good but she loves it!

If everything works out this morning, I can get some stuff done early and be there when the little ones get up early so Amy Lynn can sleep in! Joshua is a 4:30 am dude these days - what is up with that fella?

Pray for us today. We will celebrate Amy Lynn this morning. A final regular season football game is at noon (If we win we go to the playoffs - if we lose we go home) And I have a wedding to officiate at 4 pm. Can you say CRAZY?! Oh yea - and my sermon is not done yet. :>)

It is times like these that I can't do anything but claim the Word of the Lord:

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;

6 in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight."
(Proverbs 3:5 - 6)
