The Flu

Well, it's official - I have the flu. I had forgotten what it is like to be sick. Every minute drags by and I hurt all over, from the outside in. And the fever - it gets very old going back and forth between sweat and shivers.

You might not have known it, but I had it yesterday in church. I felt it coming on Saturday night. I awoke Sunday morning with aches and pains all over so I did what any pastor should do - I drank lots of coffee and asked the Holy Spirit to get me through the morning. Hey, it worked.

I just came back from the doctor and she has told me to take this stuff called Tami-Flu, drink lots of fluids, take Mulcinex D and stay away from all people. That should be easy in a house with 8! :>)

Will you pray for me? As you know, Holy Week is the biggest week in the Christian calendar. Also, please pray Amy Lynn and the kiddos do not get it.

I will keep you posted and will probably post more often this week since I am supposed to stay inside and rest. I don't think working with the lap top is work, do you? :>)
