Sunday Reflection

Pastor Craig Groeschel delivered a great word yesterday! He is such a strong teacher and uses video better than anyone I know. Here is the outline review of his message:

GOD IS… LOVE

WHY WOULD GOD LOVE SOMEONE

• AS BAD AS ME?

My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you. Therefore I despise myself… Job 42:5-6

For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called
an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 1 Corinthians 15:9

• SO INSIGNIFICANT?

But Moses said to God, "Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?" Exodus 3:11

But who am I, and who are my people, that we could give anything to you? 1 Chronicles 29:14 NLT

• GOD IS LOVE!

…God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:8-10

• GOD’S LOVE COVERS YOUR SINS.
…love covers over a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8


But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. Titus 3:4-5

• GOD’S LOVE MAKES YOU SIGNIFICANT.

I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness. Jeremiah 31:3

For God so loved {PLACE YOUR NAME HERE} that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39
