"Christmas of Hope" begins THIS Sunday!

I hope this finds you doing well and having enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I don’t know about you but I can’t believe that we are already into the month of December with Christmas coming fast. As I write, I am away at the St. Francis Retreat Center, North of Greensboro. Early this morning, I prayed for you and our church family and the “Christmas of Hope” message series that begins THIS Sunday. I will be here for a few more days praying and planning out the Christmas series and the first 6 months of 2010. I can already assure you that the Christmas series and 2010 is going to be a banner year in the life of our church!
With Advent - Christmas upon us I would like to ask you a series of questions with corresponding passages of scripture below. Christmas is all about the Gospel and as you know, “Gospel” means "Good News" and we have to remember that it becomes good to others only to the extent to which we invite and introduce them to the goodness of God and His church! Here are some key questions to ponder, straight from the Word:
• Have you told God, “I am available!” (Isaiah 6:8)
• R U praying with us for HUGE things this and EVERY Sunday… (Acts 4:29-31
• Who have you invited? (Acts 1:8)
• Who are you bringing with you? (John 1:40-42)
• Eternal destinations will be altered… (John 5:24)
• Life Change WILL HAPPEN… (II Corinthians 5:17)
• So…what are you waiting on? (II Corinthians 6:1-2)
• HE REIGNS… (Revelation 4)
• He CAN save anyone… (Acts 9:1-18)
Again, please know that I am praying for you and hope you, and your friends will join us this Sunday for “Christmas of Hope!”
By the way, go ahead and mark your calendar for our Christmas Eve services at 4:30 pm and 6:00 pm.
